We are disappointed that they closed their second location in Deer Park which is a lot closer to where we live but we have gone to the Palatine location many times and always loved it. Great food, great service and a fun atmosphere. We will continue to make the trek to Palatine.
Gianni's Cafe is our go to restaurant. We love the food so much. I have never had a bad meal there. The service is terrific too. They make the best minestrone soup I've ever had. The grilled calamari is to die for. They make an incredible chopped salad! I could go on and on. I'm so glad we live so close so we can dine there often.
We hosted a bridal shower here, and we had the best experience. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff were friendly and very efficient, and the food and drinks were excellent. All of our guests were impressed with the selection of food, how delicious everything tasted and how the staff kept the drinks filled and tables cleared. I highly recommend Gianni's for any special occasion.

Jen was our waitress & she’s was so attentive to all our needs, whether it was water, more wine, boxes to go for food it truly was amazing! Plus I highly recommend this place for any dates or business meetings you have in the near future. G.D. They all deserve a raise or least a pat on the bat in my opinion
Celebrated our wedding anniversary here and my goodness was is wonderful! Got lots of recommendations to come here and did not disappoint! The food was delicious, the drinks were great and the service was top notch! Can’t wait to go again!
I really wanted to leave an excellent review! My husband and I had dinner here to celebrate our nephew’s birthday. Everyone had been asking if I’d tried this restaurant before, and I finally did — I’m so glad I did! The service was exceptional. Lia was our waitress, and she was amazingly sweet and provided wonderful service. The food was absolutely delicious — I even joked that I loved the water! We also spoke with the manager on duty (I didn’t catch his name) to personally share our gratitude for the outstanding food and service. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will be going back to enjoy it again!
Gianni’s is one of our go to restaurants when dining out. The food and service is always top notch. Jennifer is our favorite server and absolutely a reason we keep coming back. Our only critique would be to add sound absorbing panels into the back room as it gets very loud and we prefer not to dine at the restaurant if we would be seated there.
We love this place. This is our go to for good Italian food. We like the pick your pasta, sauce and ingredients as well as the linguine vongole. We are disappointed their sister location in Kildeer closed. Service is always great as is the atmosphere.
Oh my gosh I love Gianni’s You must try the Pear martini Their bread is beyond compare. The olive oil “Italian butter” which I affectionately call goopy goop is addictive. So is the tomahawk pork chop. Their menu offers so many choices. It’s made fresh! Service is always fabulous. Oh my gosh! The carrot cake was the best I’ve EVER had. And I’ve had a lot. We were able to split it three ways and I still took some home. The ambiance feels like you are in Tuscany. I only wish they were open for lunch. I totally forgot to take pictures but I have provided some from their website. Sorry
